Although it is possible that Pokémon Scarlet and Purple do not introduce new types of Pokémon in the mixture, the games still have many new monsters with their own strengths and weaknesses for decipher to. Case in question: Villain, one of the strangest Pokemon presented, looks and sounds like a cross between a type of grass and a type of fire due to its name based on the heat scale and its design similar to the Havana pepper. As such, we do not blame you for not knowing what Villain’s weakness is in scarlet and purple Pokémon.
Fortunately, we discovered that information in our own game and compile our findings in this guide.
Explanation of Villain’s weakness in Pokémon Scarlet and Purple
Villain’s weaknesses are limited in Pokémon Scarlet and Purple, mainly due to the fact that it is a rare Dual Pokémon Grass and Fire.
Due to coverage, both types provide against their weaknesses given, makes most types of attacks cause standard damage. As a result, the only three types of attacks that can inflict super effective damage to Villain are flying type movements, poison type movements and rock type movements.
However, this does not mean that you should immediately send Pokémon that are aligned with these types of movements. The rock type Pokémon would remain vulnerable to Villain’s herb type movements. Similarly, flying or poison type Pokemon could be vulnerable if they are dual type that leaves them weak to fire or grass type movements, respectively.
As such, we recommend using a Pokémon that resists or at least suffers neutral herb and fire damage, but that has an offensive movement of flying type, poison or rock that you have learned on your own or that has taught you a TM. For example, Clod sire would receive neutral damage from fire-type attacks and Villain grass due to its double earth and poison type and could inflict super effective blows through their venom type movements such as Poison Jab.
With luck, this was clarified what is Villain’s weakness in scarlet and purple Pokémon.
